Full Charge Bookkeeper

Our client, based out of Millbrook, NY, is seeking a driven and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their organization.


  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
    • Reconcile various revenue types to customer contract & G/L
    • Reconcile all commissions payable against revenue
  • Payroll Processing
    • Review of Time Card Calculations
    • Review of employee expense reimbursements through Payroll
  • Month End Responsibilities
    • Bank statement reconciliations
    • Month end general ledger account reconciliations
  • Prepares adjusting journal entries as required
  • Performs and directs special projects as requested
  • Complete and enter new hire paperwork
  • Administer new hire orientation
  • Deliver benefit information and act as contact person for employees

This is an exciting full time position that requires Monday thru Friday availability. The successful candidate will be provided with a salary that is commensurate with experience. The requirements of the Full Charge Bookkeeper are:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in an Accounting role
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Accounting role or Office Manager Role
  • Ability to work through and influence other team members so that objectives are met
  • Excellent organizational skills with thorough follow up
  • Computer literacy required
