Our client based in Marlboro, NY, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their organization! The main priority of this position is to secure revenue by verifying and posting receipts as well as resolving discrepancies.

Accounts Receivable Clerk responsibilities:

  • Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
  • Summarizes receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account; verifying totals; preparing report.
  • Posts revenues by verifying and entering transactions from lock box and local deposits.
  • Resolves invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deductions procedures
  • Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years in an Accounts Receivable role
  • Strong Customer Service skills

This is a full time, temp-to-hire position paying $18 per hour. The hours are 7am-5pm Monday through Friday. Our client is looking for someone that can grow with the company and can help lend best practices to other members in the Accounting Department.
