Our client is looking for a Medical Office Staff Personnel for their office in Mount Kisco. They are looking for someone who excels at communicating clearly and calmly with patients and medical staff while multi-tasking a variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

A typical day of job duties may include:

  • Greeting and checking in patients; collecting co-pay and payments
  • Managing patient flow for a busy medical office supporting multiple physicians
  • Verifying insurance coverage and obtaining prior authorization as needed
  • Working on phones, scheduling and confirming new or follow-up appointments; acting as the primary contact between customer and client

This is a full time, temp-perm position, 11:30am-8pm, paying $16-$17 per hour. Medical Office Staff Requirements:

  • At least 6 months-1 year of related medical office position
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of HIPPA standards
  • Excellent data entry and computer skills (Windows operating system)
  • Candidates without medical office experience may be considered if they are a recent graduate, or have longevity in administrative experience outside of medical industry
