Our client near Rhinebeck is looking for an Office Manager to join their team.

This is a full time, temp-to-hire position. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Pay rate is $18 per hour starting.

What you’ll do as the Office Manager:

  • Maintaining the organization of the office through filing, record management, and billing.
  • Daily use of Excel and maintaining various spreadsheets
  • Responding to client inquiries about various job needs
  • Correspondence via email, phones or fax with customers

Essential skills:

As an Office Manager, communication is key – we want you to be comfortable speaking with employees about their roles and responsibilities, as well as reporting any issues to upper management. You will be responsible for corresponding with various departments throughout the company to ensure a smooth transition of task when needed. You will be handling some accounting duties, so experience with QuickBooks is required.

Here’s what else will make a successful Office Manager:

  • 3-5 years of managerial/bookkeeping experience; QuickBooks experience is a must
  • Advanced computer skills needed, including MS Office Suite
