Our client in Fishkill is looking for a part time Medical Biller. This position temp to potential hire. We are looking for the right fit for our small office long term!

As the Medical Biller, you will be making payments, collecting accounts, and monitoring delinquent accounts. The main focuses of the job are:

  • Billing and collections of various accounts
  • Identify all accounts receivable billing issues
  • Outstanding payment or payment denial follow up with insurance companies
  • This is a small office – so we only hire team players. Must be comfortable answering the phone, greeting a patient, filling in in other roles as needed

This is a part time position, about 20 hours per week. There is no set schedule as the client’s level of business may change from day to day, so we need someone who can be flexible. Pay rate is $15-$20 per hour, depending on experience. Experiences with insurance verification follow up, denials, and urgent care are all a plus!

The successful Medical Biller should have the following:

  • Experience with Kario Software is strongly preferred
  • If applicant does not have direct experience working day-day with Kario, 3+ years in medical billing is a requirement.
  • Medical Biller Certification a plus
