Our client in Hudson is looking for a part time Medical Biller. This position is temporary and will last until mid-June, as you will be covering for someone who is out on maternity leave.

As the Medical Biller, you will be making payments, collecting accounts, and monitoring delinquent accounts. The main focuses of the job are:

  • Billing and collections of various accounts
  • Identify all accounts receivable billing issues
  • Outstanding payment or payment denial follow up with insurance companies

This is a part time position, about 20 hours per week, paying at $17 per hour. Experiences with insurance verification follow up, denials, and urgent care are all a plus!

The successful Medical Biller should have the following:

  • Experience in a similar role, which can include Medical Billing, Accounts Receivable, or other administrative duties
  • Experience with Family Planning billing and Ambulatory Patient Group (APG) billing and Medent Electronic Health Record software preferred
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid billing practices and regulations
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience reading and interpreting EOBs
  • Computer Software- EMR system
  • Medical Biller Certification a plus
