A client of ours located near Ellenville is actively seeking a Patient Service Representative. You will be working in a busy medical office.

A typical day of job duties may include:

  • Greeting and checking in patients; collecting co-pay and payments, working with cash and credit cards
  • Verifying insurance coverage and obtaining prior authorization as needed
  • Working on phones, confirming appointments; acting as the primary contact between customer and client
  • Maintaining database accuracy by updating customer records
  • Providing support to management and other departments by maintaining spreadsheets and other administrative duties as needed

This is a full time, temporary position paying $14-$15 per hour. Hours will be 8am-5pm Monday-Friday.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Receptionist, call center or customer service related professional experience
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure - new challenges arise every day. You must be able to roll with the punches
  • Professional communication is a must along with strong computer skills
  • Associates Degree in a related field is strongly preferred for growth opportunity with company
