This company’s headquarters are in Europe, so constant contact with them as well as a few yearly visits will be required as well. They are also a very sustainable/environmentally friendly company, so someone who shares those same ideas would be a great fit. This position requires a self-driven experience sales professional with experience selling flooring material to architects and interior designers supporting large organizations. A book of existing clients will be provided to manage and build upon but the primary focus of the role will be to acquire new clients through aggressive prospecting and sales efforts.  

The perfect candidate will be friendly and outgoing, with 3-5 years of sales experience. Someone who is professional and respectful and open to growing exponentially with this global company through hard work, contribution and success is what our client is looking for in a candidate.

Sales Manager Job Duties:

  • Building new client relationships
  • Developing existing accounts
  • Marketing product offerings to prospects and existing clients
  • Conducting sales meetings with client throughout the continental USA
  • Overall focus is to drive company sales forward through independent efforts, distribution and rep channels.  

This is a direct hire position with salary being commensurate with experience. This position will afford the successful candidate full medical benefits after 6 months and 401K plan after 1 year. Due to the nature of this position, longer sales cycles and extensive training, this role will be heavily focused on salary the first and second year with commission offerings increasing as the successful candidate gets acclimated to the organization and starts to convert prospects to partners.

Sales Manager Job Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience, 3 years minimum
  • Open and willing to travel to client locations, throughout the USA – approximately 40% overnight travel expected
  • Experience selling into architects and interior designers linked to and representing large corporate organizations
  • Ability/flexibility to travel quarterly to company headquarters
  • Very computer savvy; quick to learn any new programs
  • Be able to communicate with very high-end clients in a professional manor
